I won't be modding my 360 because I like XBL too much to risk losing my account. Non-XNA homebrew isn't really available yet anyway.

Updated 04/04/2008: Current 360 on left, original 360 on right

My Wii

Ah, the cute little Wii between the behemoth "power" consoles.

I really enjoy the Wii, even though it seems I spent $300 (2 controllers) just to play Wii Sports. After about a month of that, I'm a bit tired of the system, and I'm dying for Metroid. Hurry up, Nintendo.

Accessories:
Wii Remote (4)
Psyclone Component Cables

Wii have:
Sonic the Hedgehog and the Secret Rings
Tiger Woods 2007
Warioware: Smooth Moves
Wii Sports
Super Swing Golf traded
Wii Play

Wii want:
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Galaxy

My PS3

The ugly black taco is obviously on the right. I don't have much to say about it because I absolute abhor the console; it's the WORST console I've ever owned. It's frustrating, it isn't any fun to play, it's overly complicated, and it's not worth the money.

I installed Yellow Dog Linux on it...I never use it though. I set aside a Motorolla HS850 Bluetooth headset to use with it (but there's no chatter online anyway). Ebay got me a deal on Monster component cables...so that does it for accessories.

Honestly, I don't really use this console; I bought it merely because I could. We spend all of our time playing Wii or 360, and I don't see that changing this generation.

Current Games:

Future Games I want:

Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII Versus

Update 12/29/2007: These pictures are no longer accurate. I no longer have Yellow Dog Linux installed, and I use HDMI on a 1080p HDTV.

My PSP

Below, you may wonder why I don't list any games. Two of my room mate's have PSP's, and I just borrow their games when they are done with them. I just can't justify spending $40 on a game I probably wouldn't play that much.

  • Pelican face cover

  • 256MB MS Pro Duo

  • Charging dock

Games to get

  • Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

  • Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core/Before Crisis (whichever it is)

My DS

I'll be honest at this point; I don't care for portable gaming anymore. This and my PSP have essentially been forgotten. With all the games for the consoles, I'm not finding time to waste on handheld gaming. When I'm out and about, I have a cellphone PDA with internet access which keeps me amused. Thanks for the good times DS...maybe we'll reunite one day.

  • Retro NES skin

  • flashme installed

  • 2 Supercard CF flashcarts

  • 1 GB CF card

Games

  • Brain Age

  • Mario Kart DS

  • Meteos

  • Metroid Prime: Hunters (Demo)

  • Metroid Prime: Hunters (full game)

  • Metroid Prime Pinball

  • Metroid Fusion (GBA)

  • Metroid Zero Mission (GBA)

  • Pollarium traded

  • Super Martio 64 DS

  • Warioware traded

Games to get

  • Final Fantasy III

My PSOne

(pictures coming soon)

  • Stealth modchip

  • Dragon LCD screen

  • 3rd party turbo controller

  • 3rd party battery pack

Good to have when the PS2's backwards compatibility sucks on game *cough* FF8 *cough*. There are a few good homebrew programs for it as well.

My Gamecube

I was thinking of making my 'cube a hellcube. But the design just doesn't seem fitting for the Gamecube. I really want a Metroid Prime skin, but I may not get to it because I'm replacing the 'cube with the Wii.

  • GBA Player

  • S-Video Monstercable

  • 2 Official Gamecube controllers

  • 2 Intec Gamecube controller

  • Microphone (received for free; I don't have games for it)

I love the 'cube. I just wish it had more games (that I couldn't get on the Xbox).

Games

  • Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem*

  • Geist*

  • Mario Kart: Double Dash! Missing

  • Megaman Anniversary Collection*

  • Megaman X Collection

  • Metroid II: The Return of Samus (GB)*

  • Metroid Prime*

  • Metroid Prime 2*

  • Phantasy Star Online 1 and 2 traded

  • Resident Evil 4*

  • Spyro the Dragon: A New Beginning (Jessica) traded

  • Super Mario Sunshine (Jessica)

  • Tony Hawk: Underground*

Games to get

  • Dragon's Lair 3D

  • Fire Emblem

  • Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess will get Wii version

Below is the skin I wanted to get the for the Gamecube. But the Wii is so close it would seem like a waste of money at this point.

My Xbox

  • Ninja Gaiden Skin (I got my old Xbox back from Squeaky, so I need a new pic)

  • Madcatz Microcon controller

  • Samsung DVD drive

Not much to show here. I kept the box stock for Xbox Live. Modding a XBL Xbox isn't worth the risk to me. My gamertag is worth more than the bonuses I can get with modification.

When Xboxes drop in price, I'll consider buying yet another one to modify.

SqueakyNinja temporarily owns this Xbox until I fix a second Xbox I have lying around. She really wants that particular Xbox, so I let her have it. I bought Squeaky a 360, so she gave my old Xbox back.

My PS2 (slim and brick)

  • DOA Kasumi Skin

  • DMS4 Lite EZI Modchip (never used)

  • 40GB Hard Drive (never used)

  • Network Adapter (never used)

  • Wireless Pelican Predator controller

  • 2 wired Sony Dualshock Controllers (only use one)

  • Official Sony 4-player adapter (never used)

  • Sony official vertical stand (and 3 unoffical multistands)

Look at all those extras that are never used. The modchip was cool for about a week. It was in no way worth the money or effort; same with the hard drive. In effect, all of the modding was for fun, just to see how it all worked.

This is my 2nd modded PS2. I had a Matrix Infinity SE chipped brick PS2 that I sold to a room mate.

I also have 1 working/2 broken slim PS2s. The working slim is to replace my brick PS2 once Cyberpunkk resolders the hard drive wires back on. It is also to receive a DMS4 Pro chip. I keep it in my bedroom, but haven't really had a desire to play it. I tried Half-Life one day, and by the time I got control, my character was stuck. Yeah. I went and played 360.

From what I've researched, I should have got into modding [original] Xboxes instead, as they are actually capable of useful things, such as being a Media Center. Not to mention a lot easier to modify and fix.

Games

  • Aliens vs Predator: Extinction

  • Beyond Good and Evil*

  • Devil May Cry 2 gave away

  • Echo the Dolphin traded

  • Final Fantasy X*

  • Final Fantasy X-2*

  • God of War

  • God of War II

  • Half-Life

  • Gran Turismo 3 traded

  • ICO

  • Killzone*

  • Nightshade

  • Rygar

  • Shadow of the Colossus*

  • Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero

  • Shinobi traded

  • Xenosaga: Episode I*

  • Xenosaga: Episdoe II*

  • Xenosaga: Episode III*

Games to get

  • Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus (just to have)

  • Kingdom Hearts

  • Kingdom Hearts II

My PC

I'm really not one to puff my chest out when it comes to my PC. My basic requirements are multitasking, dual monitors, and removable hard drives. Other than than below, I want to get RAID striping on SATA for my C: drive. Actually, if it was up to me, I would use a RAID5 array with spare. But that's damned expensive.

  • 2.66Ghz Pentium D (dual core)

  • NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 dual head VGA

  • 2GB DDR2 RAM

  • SATA HDD 2 x 80 in RAID 0

  • IDE HDD - 1 x 120GB, 1 x 160GB

  • Fan Controller, Flash Card Reader, Multi in/out

  • Black Floppy Disk Drive

  • 2 x Removable HDD bays

  • Alien head thumb screws

  • Aliens vs Predator fan grills

  • 2 x Acer 20" Widescreen LCD monitors

Updated 12/29/2007: I've changed the system around a little bit. I don't technically have my double 20" monitors yet, but they were ordered. I have a different video card, but I don't know what it is offhand. The pictures above are no longer accurate, although the case is the same.
